Finqware, a Romanian fintech company, has launched a new payment solution called FinqPayments. The service, which is the first corporate payment service in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) to be exclusively based on API banking interfaces, aims to advance financial services for medium and large European enterprises. FinqPayments integrates with FinqTreasury, a treasury automation platform, and offers various payment functions, including individual payments to beneficiaries, supplier payments, and salary disbursements. It also supports saving frequent payments for recurrent execution and exporting payment proofs in PDF format. At present, FinqPayments supports manual initiation of payments for 15 Romanian banks.
In addition to the launch of FinqPayments, Finqware recently integrated Microsoft Azure Active Directory into its FinqTreasury platform. This integration allows corporate customers to connect to their bank accounts in real time at any European bank using their company email address and Windows password. Finqware aims to simplify and optimize banking operations for large companies, with benefits including centralised management of all payment scenarios, better visibility over balances and turnovers, thorough monitoring of scheduled payments, and quick reporting of executed payments. Four Romanian banks currently offer full automation services for companies through Open Banking, which aligns with FinqPayments’ objective to streamline financial services for enterprises.
