Girasol Payment Solutions, a payments company based in Curaçao, has acquired Colombian fintech FinZi. FinZi, founded in 2021, offers various financial services including bank accounts, Visa debit cards, microcredits, utility payments, and gaming subscriptions.
The CEO and founder of Girasol Payment Solutions, Marwan Rozier, expressed excitement about entering the Colombian market through this acquisition, stating that Colombia has always been a target market for Girasol.
After the acquisition, FinZi plans to continue focusing on providing digital wallet services to its user base. The company aims to reach 1 million users by the end of 2024.
